Week one was fairly eventful. My final quarter is made up of four courses, one audited. I’m taking Three-tier, my web-database capstone course, creative non-fiction, and deaf lit. Come onnnn, one more 4.0 before I leave this place!
What else? I won another reslife award type thing and placed it in the circular file. Before break, I had dinner with our director and he invited me to apply for a CEC/RD type job. I thanked him for the opportunity but I’m not playing token black man for residence life ever again.
On Tuesday I got a brand new phone! Of course I’ve already modded and customized the mess out of it. What else? Oh, I rejoined the EBA Executive Board and jumped back into church. I realized that being a Christian in college scared me so I made it Sunday’s fear to overcome. Other fears for last week included talking to this girl, ditching some unnecessary people (fear of being alone,) and some other social things. I’m really excited about this project but I need to keep better documentation.
Finally, the girls. New classes means new girls, right? Nah. Zero girls in my IT course and weird girls in my Liberal Arts courses. Well, there is an attractive Asian girl in the class I'm auditing and she made my day by sitting next to me. I'm also interested in two multiracial girls on campus. The one I spotted two years ago (Black, West Indian and Italian) just got back on the market. She’s creative and mad active in black orgs on campus, driven, and athletic. The best part is that she's goofy and doesn't care. The other (Jamaican, German, and Irish) is just as focused but not as afro centric with crazy energy. She sings beautifully and has a great sense of humor. We’re supposed to go out for coffee tonight so we’ll see what happens. Seriously though, who goes out for coffee? Whatever, yo. I crave creative, bilingual women of color and I’m not passing up a date.
That’s about all I can remember so I’m out. I got class soon and I didn’t finish the reading. I’ll catch you.
