I wanted to start my blog with a cheerful anecdote or something formal or flashy. Decided that wasn’t quite my style. So I’m just going to jump into my day. If anything is a mystery, leave a comment and I’ll reply
ASAP.
Today, thank God for it, felt like another Saturday even though it wasn’t my typical weekend. Started off blaring in green LCD numbers at 6 am. Yeah, SAT II today, baby! Got up and went to Gateway to take them. Nice school, odd people, skinny lockers. Their window shades we green like their school colors or like all the dough they’re raking in. They had this huge TV set in the corner of the room with VCR and everything. It made me feel out of place when I thought about our busted Channel One addition. Either way, I still had to take the Math, Writing, and Physics subject tests. They weren’t as bad as I thought they’d be but we’ll find out when I get my scores back. My parents were sitting outside the school so I ran and hopped in the Olds. Man, those people really know me because we went straight to Krispy Kreme. That wonderfully warm cinnamon bun soothed my aching mind and I felt as if I dipped into a river of peace with the creamy chug of my vitamin D milk. 2 dozen of the most delicious pastries on earth, and we still went to Arby’s. I can’t complain because that 5 for 5 melt was like morphine. Made me feel great and I had to get some more. Shot off to the bowling alley to see my sister beat on folks. Her high today was 182. She always beats me. It’s like she’s sitting on my chest smacking me in the face saying, “What now? Biotch!” Least she’s happy. Missy was there… we talked; she beat me in Crusin USA just like always. After that I came home and hopped online. I wanted to do my paper but chose to work on my page instead. I’ll complain about the 6 pages research but I was happy coding all 12 of my web pages and creating the images. Talked to Sarah, Abes, and the wonderful Jodi. Church was at 7. As usual, we strolled in late… 18 minutes late. Which means my dad would have to part the black sea of people to find us some seats. I don’t know how he does it but we were in the 6th row! Church was AWESOME. I learned that we can be prisoners to our pleasure and that I basically have to surrender to His (God’s) will. I knew about the pleasure but how do I surrender? Can I borrow a white flag? I burned mines in 9th grade civics. Oh well, I have to pray on that one.

After church, drove over to my older sister’s. I’m spending the night clowning and kicking it with my fam and nephews. My sister is cooking up the food right now… mmm the aroma of chicken and the mouth-watering scent of corn mix together and tortures my nose. Its affect heads south and sends my stomach into convulsions. I have to eat, I’m starving! I hope the first post in my blog was interesting enough to make a reader come back for more. Church at RBC is tomorrow and I think it’s going to be interesting… either way, I’m getting my grub on.
Maybe I can gain a pound… Peace (568 words, too long?)
